Atlantic City is in New Jersey, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Atlantic City follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Beautiful. Poor parking resources. Empty lot next door, but not sure if it's ok to park there or not. No signs

It's a small garden, full of information. Start on the right, where the pillars are shorter, read the quotes around each pillar. They get larger as more time passes and more incidents occur across our country. The pillars build until completed. There were some street people lying in the garden when I visited, but they didn't speak or move when I walked through.

I love this garden. It serves as a memorial to all who fought for civil rights and equal rights for everyone. It’s a great tribute in the middle of Atlantic City. If you’re interested in history you MUST come here!!

A beautiful monument to the people who fought tirelessly for civil rights. The pillars are grand, and the rhetoric is profound and emotional. The statue of the hand is majestic. Unfortunately the area seemed very unkempt when we visited. There was a lot of trash in the fountain and stuck in the bushes. Many of the flowers were wilted and dying too.

Was an eye opener to see how many unspoken Black People took part into shaping today and our government. Beautiful and Tranquil, just wish they had a bench inside garden.
